For this young family’s new Riverhead home, we embraced its striking rural backdrop and monochromatic architecture of black, white, glass, and concrete. Our vision was to balance the bold framework with warmth, softness, and texture, creating a home that feels elevated yet inviting. We carefully considered flow, functionality, and the practical needs of young children, while ensuring the design would endure as the family grows. Beginning with new carpet and window treatments to soften and complement the existing palette, we layered in spatial planning and bespoke furniture solutions both indoors and out. The result is a cohesive, timeless environment that celebrates its rural setting while offering comfort, flexibility, and a touch of refinement.
