Concept : Design and furnish a new contemporary renovation that includes client's own mid-century vintage furniture pieces.
After owners had some stressful moments installing their kitchen and flooring, they then engaged Sage & Nook to completely furnish their large open plan living space. This space included kitchen, living room, dining space and TV nook. The client's 60's mahogany dining table set and an occasional chair were incorporated into the scheme. All other finishes and furnishings were selected to seamlessly blend modern and mid-century styles together. Early in the design phase we encouraged the purchase of a painting from NZ artist, Jen Sievers, which inspired many of our design choices, including the beautiful sage green wall in the TV nook.
